Does anyone think that under different circumstances that Liam would not be transitioning? Like if his parents were in his life and that if they embraced that he was a very girly boy. I think maybe the story would not to had if the parents were in his life.
I think that if his parents were more accepting he would still be transitioning, it would just be an easier process. The thing is, he is not doing this because he thinks it will solve he problems, he's transitioning because it is honestly what he feels he needs to do, because he is trans gender. He is a girl on the inside, and he would want to transition no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI think that if his parents truly cared about him and the parents encouraged him to be trans, the story would be more about his life as a transitioned girl (or what you said). That could also be a very interesting sequel. :)
